Happy Easter 2013!

It was so great to have my parents with us to help us celebrate Easter.  It's been so long since we spent a major holiday with them.  The girls were also very excited to have Mimi and Papa here!

The girls left the Easter Bunny a couple of carrots and a note asking "Can you please give us an Easter egg hunt"?  The Easter bunny seemed to enjoy his carrots!

The Easter Bunny did as the girls requested and hid about 100 eggs all over the house!

We took Tom and Silke with us to the annual PHV Easter Egg hunt.

However, Taryn DID want to participate in the "picking up of the candy"!

Success!!!  A big winner!

Tom got knocked over by another kid on his way to claim a yellow duck.  He was very upset and Taryn tried to hold his hand and make him feel better.  So sweet.  Sometimes language is not needed to communicate.

Finally getting around to dying some eggs!!  Kristen joins us via Skype!

At the end of a fun-filled day, the girls get a bed time story from Mimi.  We are so sad that she and Papa have to fly back home tomorrow.  It's been a great visit!
