Tonight, we attended the Patrick Henry Elementary School Holiday Program. Each grade sang three or four songs and then all the grades got together at the end to sing a couple of songs for the curtain call. However, a few nights before the performance, Leena and Taryn both broke out in song during breakfast and we were able to get a sneak-peak to what was to come. Here is the breakfast practice performance:
A few nights later was the real deal. My dying camera was not able to get a clear, still picture of the stage from where we were sitting. All I could manage were a few short videos from our seats back in the sixth row. Here is the Kindergarten performing their first song, "Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer". Taryn is in the black top in the second row, center (behind the boy in the red shirt and jeans).
Kindergarten, second song, "Jingle Bells":
Kindergarten, third song, "Dradle, Dradle, Dradle":
Kindergarten, fourth song, "Mittens and Gloves":
Now, time for the second graders. Leena is in the second row, center, behind a girl in a red top and white skirt. Their first song is "Merry, Merry Christmas":
The second graders second song, "Oh Christmas Tree" sung in German!!
The second graders third song, "I want to be an Elf":
The second graders fourth song, "It's Winter Again":
And after 1 hour and 15 minutes of Christmas songs, it was finally time for the finale! Here is the performance of the song we got a preview of earlier, "Born in Bethlehem". Taryn is in the front row in a dress with a black top and red skirt. Leena is waaaay over in the fourth row on the very, far right hand side.
